Summary
Aether tends to think of his life in terms of "before Kaeya" and "surviving his massive fucking crush on Kaeya holy shit". Before Kaeya, he was happy and fulfilled, and felt in control of himself and his life. Now, with Kaeya in his life, he's even happier and more fulfilled, but he has to deal with all of his friends making fun of him for not making a move on the handsome detective. If he hears one more "And they were roommates", he's going to flip his shit.
He's happy with friendship, okay? He'd never want to ask for more than Kaeya was willing to give, so he'll keep his feelings to himself! And avoid any chance of rejection while he's at it.
Now, if only Lumine would share the brain cell so that he could do that properly.
