Summary
Kazuha and his friend part ways and promise to see each other again when the leaves turn red in autumn. That meeting never comes, terminated in a single decisive strike of lightning...
And then Kazuha wakes up, and there his friend is, talking about moral principles and the way the sun shines through tree leaves as if nothing had happened. And... nothing has, except that his hand aches where it once clutched his friend’s fading Vision...
In other words, Kazuha gets stuck in a time loop and he's coping Just Fine
