“not everything feels like something else,” said donghyuck, not looking up. “drowning feels like drowning.” mark’s eyebrows furrowed as he stared at his best friend’s fingers dancing across the keyboard. mark wished he could hear what donghyuck was playing, but donghyuck had his headphones plugged in and one earbud in his left ear. “being in pain isn’t the only way to feel alive—to prove you’re alive.” donghyuck finally looked up from the silent keys beneath his hands, but he had a far away look in his eyes. mark wasn’t sure he knew what donghyuck was talking about.
