Summary
I can barely hear Puffy's voice over the pounding of my own heart as the words sink in. No escape..? Surely not. This has to be some sick joke, some sort of prank that someone's playing on us, right? But who would come up with a premise this creepy?
I can't even find it in myself to look away from the program's smile, its sheer white eyes practically piercing my soul with an intensity so pure that there's no doubt about it. This isn't a joke.
"Exactly what it sounds like," the boy giggles. "So let's all try to get along as a big happy family, okay?"

Wilbur finds himself waking up in an unfamiliar house with a cast of unfamiliar people, and no memory of the night before. He and the others are given only two bits of information: That they're a family and have to play games to appease the AI that's constantly watching over them all. It doesn't take long for the games, and its participants, to find themselves in a corner they were hoping they'd never have to come to, with a sinister ulterior motive behind the AI that smiles so sweetly at their loving family. An AI that seems so familiar... But surely Wilbur will find a way to exit the house and leave safely with the others.
