Summary
As he’s about to start walking towards the room, something catches his eye —a silhouette in the dark, between one of the chests. He stops in place, head turning back again to double-check what he saw. The silhouette looked familiar, too familiar. Bright eyes striking against the dark. For a second, it looks like a hallucination. But the eyes suddenly turn to stare back at him.
He knows that face.
He knows the look on it, too.
