Beep. Beep. Beep.
Oh no, no no no. He was dying right? He couldn’t. Bruce was coming for him. He had to. His mind was racing, breathing ragged. His eyes opened just to close again. He struggled weakly against strong hands pinning him down. No no no. He had to leave, before he died. He needed Bruce. Then he heard a familiar voice, he couldn’t recall who it belonged to but it was calming. “You’re safe now, Jaylad.”
Safe…He was safe. What happened? Oh, yeah. The Joker. He fell unconscious again with everything replaying in his mind.
Or Jason is safe after dealing with the Joker and he recalls what he went through.
