Jing Yuan, the 'Dozing General', the Lion of Loufu, one of seven Arbiter-Generals that defend the Xianzhou Alliance with life and limb.
Everyone praised him for his service, or scorned him for his decisions.
But glories came and went, as did opinions and connections and all the other messy bits of life.
Such was the way of the Xianzhou, the curse of Long-Life species.
It didn't mean it made being left behind any easier to bare.
Or time less heavy to carry on one's long tired shoulders.
And Aeons, was he tired.
So very tired.
But who would have thought stumbling upon a ray of sunshine, a seed blooming in the heart of a desolate battlefield, the weary lion might actually find something worth living for.
If only to keep the light ever burning.

Jing Yuan becomes a father and experiences all the wonders and chaos that comes alongside it.

The Xianzhou Alliance is nothing, if not resilient. Just as their Arbiter-Generals are.
However, even Emanators bleed, and one does not simply bounce back after nearly being turned into a void ranger.
Can the Loufu begin to repair when its Dosing General is in no state to command its helm?

Still, Jing Yuan has always followed tradition: writing down the Mandate of Heaven, wearing the proper Yuanduan before The Emperor, and caring for the ginkgo tree because destiny as Heaven has predestined it, is unchanging . However, the appearance of a young boy in his life begins to change his perception of destiny, fate and what he’s truly capable of.

It has been two months since the end of the Stellaron Crisis and the Loufu is still clearing away the dust of disarray, taking stock of all that has been lost.
Yet, in the midst of uncertainty, the Wardance is on the nearing horizon. A time to celebrate, hold festivals, and show the galaxy that the Loufu is just as strong as the Alliance is whole.
But there are those displeased with the General's oversight and many more still who would use this turmoil to their own advantage.
Cloud Knights are coming up dead with nary an explanation in sight. The other war-ship Generals are due to arrive for a preliminary security meeting. And Jing Yuan suspects this is only the beginning of something else to shake up the foundation of their once long-held peace.
After all, how best do you take down a lion, then by plucking the feathers of its favorite bird?
