Oscar is working on a problem set when he hears a concerning series of crashes outside of his apartment. He looks up from his notes, and catches sight of a giant hand gripping the top edge of one of the office buildings adjacent to his window.
“Palm,” he whispers to himself. His eyes follow the villains comically disproportionate arms down to Palm’s regular sized body where he’s using his other—normal sized as of right now—arm and hand to fight off a fluro yellow blob darting around him, while another body clings to his back. “Ah, Bob and Weave have got it.”
Oscar turns back to his homework.
The screech of metal draws him back to the window, and he sees Palm’s hand gripping a chunk of building no longer attached as it should be.
‘Maybe they’ve not got it,’ Oscar thinks.
