After the unlikely collaboration between The Riddler and The Scarecrow proves to be fruitful, they kick back and split the goods only in the company of each other, and a dimly lit room which acts as a break from the harsh Gotham autumn. Who would feel secure while alone with one of Gotham’s most depraved men? Well, The Riddler, of course. He would just defend himself if in he were in harm’s way, and win. That aside, he’s too valuable to lose. The fact that he’s extremely lonely and hurting all the time is entirely unrelated.

Jonathan Crane had always believed that his students were dumber than pond scum, that was until he met you. You were studying psychology with an emphasis on cognitive neuropsychology when you first took his class. At first, he didn’t think much of you like he did with many of his students; but you quickly ascended to the top of the class without a sweat. However, that wasn’t what had originally caught his attention. For some time, Dr. Crane had been developing a chemical compound that would induce hallucinations of one’s biggest fears. Recently though, he had been running into some problems with his compound. And without someone to test it on- he was stuck. Of course, he would never actually admit to needing help, but he did need someone willing (or unwilling) to test and experiment on. After a long internal debate, he decided to post a position for a lab assistant. He got a handful of applications, but one really stood out; yours. Excellent grades, high intellect, plus he recognized your name from his class list… and those miniskirts you always wore.
With a man like Jonathan Crane, they like to feel like the ones in control; the ones who really know what's going on.
