Summary
His arms wrapped around her and he hushed her, trying to implore in every sense of the word that she wasn’t going to, that they were going to fix this, that everything was going to be fine. But deep down he was so scared. Everything to do with Chrismos Lukos was supposed to have ended when Althea died, when all of the leaders, the only people who’d had a chance to rebuild the cult, died, when everybody else involved surrendered.
So how in god’s name could this possibly be happening?
Eighteen months later, and things still aren’t okay. Nightmares and tension are rife within the four of them, but a final, unexpected threat will have the power to push all of that aside.
