Summary
A routine Smiling Friends assignment goes profoundly wrong, leaving Pim deeply affected in a way his colleagues don't immediately understand.
Haunted by a failure he can't shake, Pim retreats inward and vanishes into the rain-soaked city, descending into a state of numb detachment.
As days pass and Pim deteriorates on the streets, Charlie is forced to confront his own discomfort with genuine despair and the terrifying possibility that Pim might not bounce back this time.
