Or, just me not really liking how Varian's arc was somehow resolved in an episode. With Cass taking his spotlight with her sudden betrayal. (Yes I know about 'Be Very Afraid' but this is before that) Honestly he was really quick to just forgive her, and Rapunzel and Frederick really had no consequences.
Also a slight 'what if Varian stayed on the ship" cause I can't stop thinking about it. -

The Saporians were hurt throughout several wars, nobody can deny that. However, that didn't give Andrew the right to break the laws and betray morals set in place by Saporian ancestors, to hurt the people around him.
Varian's time in prison with the man was miserable, between terrible guards and Andrew himself. The breakout wasn't much better. However, he did have one new thing, friends.
Kai, Juniper, and Daire were there for him. They defended him, they cared for him, and they were trapped under Andrew's grasp too.
The majority of their group was being tormented by Andrew with no way out for the sake of a culture most of them cherish. By the time Rapunzel and her group got back, none of them have hope they'll notice. Not that they want them to, they don't need their help, nor do they want it.
They'll beat this on their own, they'll get away from Andrew on their own. They just have to survive the next few months to do so.--
A story about Varian's time with the Saporians using the Whumptober 2021 prompts. Starting from the near end of his time in prison to Rapunzel's return.
