I was very disappointed in the battle with the Kade. Honestly, it wasn't even really a battle, and Onni, who did so much and tried so hard, never so much landed a blow. So this is my version of what *really* happened.
This mentions Onni "slashing the Kade's corrupting eye in their earlier battle". That was when Onni started to fight it, but had to break off and return to the real world while everyone fled from the bear-beasts.
NOTE: There is some violence, including kicking and stabbing. I do not describe in detail or graphically, but it's there. I don't think it qualifies as "graphic description of violence", but YMMV.
