Summary
Titles are a poor way of summing up a person.
Temari would know; she’s been given plenty in her lifetime and is even more familiar with the layers of expectations held in other people’s eyes as the epithets so casually fall from their mouths. Whatever honour motivates them to do so doesn’t dismiss one simple truth: titles are a sly distancing from the fact that people are more (and less) than just that.
