Summary
“Some storms never end. Some hearts never forget.”
Kim Taehyung was twelve when his mother died in the rain. He didn’t scream. Didn’t speak. Only his fingers trembled—while lavender soaked the halls of Kim estate like a ghost. Now thirty, he’s the cold, soft-faced CEO of Kim Corp: ink-stained, cloud-obsessed, a collector of rare things—books, birds, broken antiques, and walls no one can breach.
But the past doesn’t knock. It claws.
Jeon Jungkook—heir of another empire, the boy Taehyung once called his moon—is forced into an arranged marriage with him. At twenty-four, Jungkook is sharp-tongued and sugar-soft, hiding tattoos and carrying a paper crane—the last gift Taehyung gave before vanishing.
He dreams of that night. Lavender chokes him. Taehyung looks at him like a prayer he can't bear to hear.
Tension sparks—brat and tamer, storm and silence. As shadows stir and old truths bleed, love returns in fragments: soft hands, hard truths, birdsong in stormlight.
Sometimes, the only way to heal—is to fall apart first.
