The world had no appeal to Pierrot. People were no different from sheeps or vermins, worshipping rules only to avoid them when no one was looking. He wanted everything and if he had to reject the world itself, than he would without thinking twice.
However, the princess's invitation made him discover someone who would fuel his desire and leave him craving for more.
