Aywin a redeem storm sorceress dark urge. Saved Baldur's Gate from the clutches of the Absolute, only to have her friends from her travels, die. First Astarion died. Next was Karlach and Wyll. Lae'zel well... her goddess more than likely killed her. Who knows where Minthara went. Shadowheart was killed by Sharans. All those deaths hurt. However, the pain of watching Gale, her lover, her best friend, her everything, blow up destroyed her. Not knowing what to do, she dedicates herself to studying how to open a portal. A portal to the Earth realm. She makes it there, only to be captured by none other than Makarov. Held against her will and being forced to use her magic to do Makarov's bidding.
Five years later, she is rescued by Task Force 141. More importantly, she is saved by a man in Ghost mask. The years of abuse under Makarov has really put distrust in people.
Ghost is not one for feelings. Ghost doesn't do emotions well. But when he finds a scared woman being held by Makarov, he does what he's not supposed to do: Fall in love with her.
As Aywin and Ghost grow closer, so does their love and understanding of each other. Two souls. Similar circumstances and a mystery. Why does everyone truly want Aywin?

Astarion moved through his tiny world in perpetual darkness. As a vampire spawn, he hasn't had free will or thought in nearly two centuries. After a fateful abduction by a mindflayer ship, he finds himself not only cut off from his vampire master's control, but able to enter homes uninvited and walk about in sunlight. "Someone has changed the rules..." With his new band of traveling companions, also infected with mindflayer worms, their unfolding adventure takes off. While he's sarcastic and standoffish with most, the vampire spawn finds himself unusually open with a towering druid elf called Halsin. And eventually, gives his heart to a long-winded wizard with secrets that may be even more dangerous than his own.

They swiped their sword at the creature, before dealing a final blow through the skull. A purple, shimmery liquid poured from what was left of the head.
“H-holy fuck dude,” Jax whispered, voice gravelly. Maybe it was his delirious, blood deprived brain saying this, but that was kind of hot. He looked up, getting a better look at his savior.

Blood-soaked techno parties, body augmentation, and political games define this era. Human magic casters run shops alongside Drow; automatons are plentiful and have displaced many workers. Plenty of interesting gangs of creatures wander the streets, including ghouls, werewolves, half-breeds, goblins and whatever else, looking to pick a fight, or simply to survive. A mix of futuristic and fantasy set in the world of Baldur's Gate.
