Summary
Set immediately after the events of Thor: Ragnarök, Loki's magic is used to try and open a bridge to Earth. When Thanos interrupts the spell, the surviving Asgardians are flung across the universe and Loki finds himself unexpectedly connected to Natasha Romanov through their dreams. During the day, Thor and Loki lead their people across the stars while Natasha works to repair the team she lost after Civil War. But at night, Loki and Natasha find themselves drawn to each other. Both have red in their ledger and sometimes only someone who has done the worst can understand what it takes to achieve redemption.

So when Asgard’s betrayed god of mischief falls into another world entirely, and comes face-to-face with Mephiles- the trapped, jaded and highly sarcastic soul of a god from a whole other world lying just outside an endless, timeless void- Loki doesn’t quite know what to think.
But if there’s anything Loki hates, it’s boredom. So he’s not about to accept the void, whatever his new companion might be telling him.

Loki yawned, his eyes wandering from the book he had been devouring for the past few hours to take in the assortment of wrappers scattered over the floor, the chaise lounge, and his body. With a sigh, he brushed aside those within reach. He struggled for a moment with one that had slipped between the soft folds of flesh that now covered his stomach, spilling into his lap even in his half-reclining position. How odd. He was sure the little layer of fat on his middle wasn’t thick enough to form rolls like that. Perhaps he had put on a bit more weight than he realized? But no. The Grandmaster had seen to it that Loki had gorged himself on two superb meals already that day. On top of that were the snacks. Those irresistible treats always did leave him bloated, and it certainly seemed that the book wasn’t all he had been devouring.
