Summary
From the moment Korra was able to bend three of the four elements, she has dedicated her life to becoming the best Avatar possible. When the Chief of Republic City herself asks for the Avatar's help to handle growing issues with a rising nonbender movement known as the Equalist cause, she knew she had to do her part. Even if the White Lotus didn't fully agree with her plans.
It's a pretty daunting task to create peace between benders and nonbenders, but this is just one of many difficult Avatar responsibilities.
To be fair, these Avatar responsibilities would probably be much easier to manage if the hot Equalist heiress would stop flirting with Korra every single time they meet.

Summary
"You're not me," Korra's lip curls. There’s something in Kuvira. An animal born out of a starving child. Korra could never make herself ruthless; not even when she wants to.
"No," Kuvira says, smiling, "but I am what you could have been."
Korra, Kuvira, and their legacy of hope and destruction.

Summary
Neither of them speak as the raven-haired woman focuses on the weeping body in her arms. As she looks down, she sees burn scars along her shoulders and arms, thin and twisting around each other like Republic City's spirit vines.
Unlike Korra, she admires the scars, the way the milky color shines against the light. They whisper a part of the Avatar's recovery that goes unnoticed to some.
She raises an eyebrow quizzically when she sees a few that are an angry red instead of pinkish-white. At first she thinks it's a trick of the lamp light, but it gets the gears in her head turning when her fingers brush them. The skin is wrinkled and rough. They're recent, and too precise to be an accident.
It's no secret that Korra dealt with Zaheer's attack in that way, but... she hasn't started again, has she?
Or: Asami tries to help Mute!Korra through her resurfacing trauma but Korra is extremely stubborn.

Summary
What if Zaheer, P'Li, Ming-Hua, and Ghazan had managed to capture Korra as an infant and raised her as a family, each of them training her in an element as she grew older. What if they raised her to be one of them, and Korra grew to be an Anarchist that wanted to tear down the borders of the world. What if Korra grows up with a much different set of ideals and thoughts on what is right for the world. And what if she has allies strong enough to have a shot at creating a world that follows those ideals?

Summary
Korra is not nervous, but her heart skips a beat when she looks over to find Asami staring at her in something she can’t name.
(She probably could name it, if she tried hard enough – but it’s not for her to assume; she owes so much to Asami)

Summary
Korra receives visions from her past lives after the Harmonic Convergence. The dreams contain the graphic deaths of her past cycles, even though she can no longer reach them after her brief split with Raava. The dreams soon show entire days before death, including the people that they love within their lifetimes. Except in her dreams, she recognizes the souls of her friends. And Asami pops up as her lover, every four cycles without fail. (And Zuko was a bison, one time. That was really awkward.)

Summary
Breaths settled– calming– and the pull of another place tingled. The Avatar felt as she began to sift into another plane of being, falling softly into the earth: sinking and sinking. Aang's form began to manifest– only for him to crash away and a jolt to run through her body as a pair of dark, deep eyes locked onto her.
