Summary
On the other side of the narrow strip that was covered by the roof, Kris saw a slouched silhouette, the man was all wet, water dripping from the ends of his hair, his whole body trembling. He wondered what had happened to him. What if he needed help? Kris turned around, there was no one around, the supermarket was closing in ten minutes, all the customers had already left, his car was the only one left in the parking lot in the pouring rain. If this man was in trouble, he was unlikely to be helped by anyone else. Kris grabbed his grocery bag more comfortably and cautiously approached the man.
“I'm sorry, are you okay, do you need help?” The man turned around abruptly and Kris recoiled, he thought he saw a ghost staring at him shocked with his big eyes.
His first urge was to turn around and walk away, get in his car and drive home, pretend it hadn't happened, that he had imagined it. But he couldn't leave a person in trouble. Even if that person was Bojan Cvjetićanin.~
