Those were the last words Jalala had expected when she was staring deep into the eyes of the beast.
A stare, as if they were looking straight into her soul, shimmering ruby red in the light. Weapon in their hand, the blade of their sword dripping with the blood of their previous foe. She hadn't expected them to extend a hand.
"Join me."
And then Jalala had fainted.
