Summary
Just a collection of spontaneous writing that I wrote and posted on tumblr that I’m cross posting here for archival reasons. These are usually based on either my own headcanons or meta, or those of others (permission seeked and granted) that I’ve seen cross my dashboard.
Most, if not all, of these are very rough, unpolished pieces that I did very minimal (some have none) edits. Short fics, sometimes even point-form AU ideas, etc. This is where my unhinged ideas go, so don’t expect amazing writing. Kudos and comments welcome if you've enjoyed my unhinged thoughts.Any spoilers and content warnings will be stated in the author’s notes at the beginning.

Imogen lets out a small puff of air through her lips, trying her hardest to put an end to yet another spiral.
Laudna, bless her soul, catches her gaze lingering briefly and smiles her sweetest smile at her, the kind some people find unsettling because it's just a tad too wide and it shows a little bit more teeth than they're used to, and does a small motion with her fingers that Imogen returns with a small wave of the hand that's not tangled in the reins. And now she's fixating on Laudna's fingers.

Summary
Laudna feels a sedative kind of exhilaration dawning on her, the urge to both run and collapse. The guilt and the pain that have been cutting through her for days finally letting up, finally silenced. It’s healing and inflaming all at the same time.
They falter, mostly due to Laudna randomly going still while Imogen takes a step, and it’s her quiet laughter that pulls Laudna out of her head for a second.
“Welcome back,” Imogen’s voice is soft like a caress, like a promise. It might be what it is, there might be a promise there.
