He pulled one of the boxes off the stack, bringing it between them. Shin watched as Sou opened the box, only to twist his face in confusion. Inside the box, on top of a greasy plastic wrapper, laid several pieces of fried chicken, topped with several layers of mozzarella cheese and decorated with pepperoni. It was the single oddest piece of food Shin had ever seen…and yet, he could practically hear his stomach rumbling at the near sight of it.
“Er…Sou?” Shin spoke nervously. “What exactly did you buy?”
“Come on, your memory can’t be that bad Shin,” Sou pouted. “We saw the commercial together. It’s chizza!”
“Ch…chizza?!”
“Pieces of boneless fried chicken, cooked to crispy perfection! Topped with 3 layers of mozzarella cheese and sprinkled with delicious salty salami, it’s the perfect tear away dinner for two!”
