He missed their base in New Mexico, and Engie’s cooking, and drawing with Pyro. He missed the respawn machine and not being scared of dying all the time. He missed his bed- shit, he missed having a bed at all. He missed the desert wind and the traces of sand in his shoes. He missed hearing the coyotes cry, way out in the night, singing for a moon that would never answer.
…He really missed Medic.
