Summary
One night, Deet catches a shooting star—or rather, a young Gelfling named Brea who had fallen from the sky, kept afloat only by her mysterious crystal pendant. From there, the two Gelfling find themselves on a perilous journey to find the mysterious and legendary floating island of Thra. Along the way, they must team up with a ragtag crew of sky pirates who seek to unearth Thra's treasures and must evade the Skeksis who seek to control Thra's destructive automaton armies.
And perhaps they'll find something else between them, something more precious and powerful than anything Thra could possess.

Our main heroes, and the rest of the resistance must find ways to survive in their dangerous environment and also play their own roles accordingly in Thra's prophecy that has only one good ending.

The two who live at #14 Sun Circle are, without question, the oddest neighbors on the cul-de-sac. One is a chronic sleepwalker, has a religious aversion to shoes, and moves at the speed of moss. The other is a retired costume designer, has a metal plate in his head, and moves at the speed of crack. They invented their own hookah flavor, can name every star in every constellation, and always give out the best candy on Halloween.
They're an odd pair. But they'd be even odder apart.

In this au, after multiple failed attempts at Crystal rituals the desperate Skeksis' asks the Crystal of truth for another life source that they can use to survive off of in the mean time until the Scientist, Skektek, figures out a plan to harvest essence for himself and the others since Thra will not give it. The Crystal brings an alien being, not of Thra, to the planet as her body organs could be used in many ways to solve the Skeksis' problems.

Multiple chapters are yet to come.
The truth has been exposed. A new gang of Gelfling will have the quest upon their hands, a new change, a new age, the Age of Resistance. Rian, Gurjin, And Kable(members of the guard) will team up and alert the following ten clans of the Skeksis crimes. Along with that, challenging moments, new friends and perhaps old friends… and a mixture of possibly Love relationships. Other influential Gelfling tied to this resistance are Deet and Amri of grot, Brea of Vapra, Chidobe of Ub’Jan, Naia of Drenchen, Toolah of Christen, and Malia of Dousan, and of course Noble Hup. These Gelfling or group…that has yet to come, will change their lives and many other lives on thra.
I will make this a series, not just a short ten chapter fan fic.

Summary
The Dark Crystal original 1982 movie has been my favorite since I was a childling. Now I have read the prequel novels and seen the TV show, and I have decided that I need to write some short stories about the beautiful world of Thra, especially the gelfling we've come to love so dearly.
Set after the events at the end of the forth novel, I'm starting with the one story I absolutely needed to write. Do not worry--I have other ones in the works. I rely mostly on the novels as canon, though I have intertwined some aspect of the show. (Deet is still darkened. Seladon is who she was in the show instead of the books. Lore and Hup will make an appearance, etc. etc. Please leave comments if you're ever confused about discrepancies!) -
