“Don’t worry,” says Lance, gives Hunk a reassuring nudge with his shoulder. “Keith was state fencing champion back in high school. For fencing-types, this is like a bonding moment.”
Lance smiles, gives Lotor and Keith an encouraging thumbs-up. His eyebrows disappear toward his hairline a second later, when Keith charges forward screaming, swoops his blade in a lightning-fast arc, the point barely missing Lotor’s chest.
“Or not-!” Lance says quickly, his mouth dropping open as Lotor hisses and returns a vicious lunge, Keith swerving and striking toward Lotor’s waist. “Oor they actually want to kill each other!”

“Is this the thing where you say one truth and one lie?” says Keith, and he glowers at Hunk, then Lance, like they’ve both somehow conspired against him. Lance shrugs, helpless.
We’re just trying to lighten the mood, Lance thinks, hopes Keith gets it from the weird squinty-face he’s pulling. Lotor invited you guys over to make friends, not to moodily inspect his strangely luxurious living quarters and swear you into some sort of allegiance.
Keith’s glare darkens.

10,000 years of exile, and Lotor was forced to live through a lot.
This concept based story, is just what i think could have happened in those 10,000 years.
There's a theory of quintessence, and how it lengthened his life, which is why he managed to live for so long.Of course, when you live for that long, it is expected to go through some hardships.
It can be both a blessing and a curse to live longer than you should have.For Zarkon it was a chance to expand his empire,
And for Prince Lotor, it was a curse to live out his exile.
