‘It went well,’ Louis said as his gaze dropped to Lestat’s outfit. Daniel didn’t need to see his eyes to know they were darkening with desire. ‘I can see your midriff.’
‘You were welcome to the sight of my midriff at any moment in the past,’ Lestat preened, stepping closer. ‘You did view it on many occasions in fact. Let my audience bask in its glory for once.’
