The first contact war was followed by years of hot and cold warfare between humans and turians. Several attempts by the council to force a permanent truce has failed. Now both the Hierarchy and the Alliance has agreed to an armistice which has lasted for 6 years. Gagarin Station (Jump Zero)has been established as a place of reconciliation, where turian recruits and human biotics train side by side as supposed allies. However, old grudges die hard and for some of the students it's hard to let go of the past.
Will friendship outlast the end of childhood? When team Four is spread across space, divided by duty, will something remain of Jump Zero’s lessons, or will the new emerging enemy strain every relationship past its breaking point?

this takes place in a canon right after the events of mass effect 3, where shepard chooses the destroy ending and lives. mostly, this work is personal, if not to just make me feel better about the very cop-outty ending to the series. i love this series and i don't want it to die with shepard... so surprise surprise, she doesn't die :) this is going to be very long, and detail the events that take place after the blast that destroys the relays.
the shepard in this fic's name is venus. she's a paragon sentinel who romanced liara in me1 and garrus in me2 and me3.

Lazarus project combined with a clone created from Shepard's DNA. She has returned to a time of peace, but how long will that last now that the hero of the Milky Way has returned?
By no means is this canon with BioWare's storyline. I felt that after 3 games an ending like that needed something more to it thus coming up with the idea of what if Shepard was brought back through her memories imprinted in the Catalyst and reaper forces. Since cloning is possible, why not be able to implement her memories into a new body?
