Summary
The Jabami and Kambe families have long since maintained a clandestine friendship, the latter helping hide the the former's daughters whenever conflict within the Hundred Devouring Clans would arise. But when the Jabami couple joins the deceased Kambe's beneath the soil and the eldest Jabami daughter is devoured for the sake of eliminating all possibilities of the clan's second most affluent family's rise in influence, all responsibility fell onto the lap of the "black sheep" second daughter who had been far too young to take on the role of mother and father to her younger sister.
With a growing rage and an insatiable thirst for revenge, the now peerless Jabami matriarch conspires with her younger sister to overthrow their Momobami leader and take rule over the covetous, power-hungry, bloodthirsty devourers. And maybe, amidst all the mind games and fraudulent exploits, she'd be able to find the peace that she never thought she'd find in pursuance of her mission to eat the rich.
