Summary
Facing foreclosure of their homes in the 'Goon Docks' area of Astoria, Oregon to an expanding country club, a group of boys who call themselves 'the Goonies' - Michael 'Mikey' Walsh, Richard 'Data' Wang, Clark 'Mouth' Devereaux, and Lawrence 'Chunk' Cohen - gather for a final weekend together. While rummaging through the Walsh's attic, they stumble across a 1632 gold doubloon coin and an old treasure map purporting to lead to the treasure of legendary pirate 'One-eyed Willy', believed to be located somewhere nearby. Seeing the treasure as their last chance to save their homes, the boys overpower and bind Mikey's older brother, Brandon 'Brand', to get past him and make their way to an abandoned restaurant on the coast that coincides with the map. Brand soon follows alongside his best friend and wizard, Harry Potter - his best friend from high school, as well as Hermione Granger, a popular high school cheerleader and witch who has a crush on Harry, and her tomboy Squib best friend, Ginny Weasley.
Clues on an old map, booby traps, a trio of pursuing criminals, an unlikely friendship, a storied treasure of the ages, and the legend of a daring pirate. Avast ye, mateys! There be adventure ahead!

The goonies are being kicked to the curb by some rich men. This last goonie weekend will lead to an adventure. But this isn’t like the movie. Higher stakes take the group into life or death situations and what was a weekend hangout turns into a real ordeal and they don’t know when they are gonna be safe from the “cursed” treasure or the fratellis. Also there is some romance, a lot kinda. Maybe this adventure was a pull of the rug.
