A good distance in front of him, he sees a figure striding over. It’s Matthias – a fact of which surprises him more than Jesper or even Kaz would have. His strides are long, gaze hard, and when he reaches Wylan, he carefully settles near him. His eyes are trained forward, and his shoulders visibly loosen.
