  Summary

  With a new rank comes more responsibility, and while Rachel Bakandi has reached the status of Jedi Knight, is she ready for everything that comes with the title?
  Darkness looms in front of her because even though Master Ywin trained her to be the best, his choices and actions are called into question, which, in turn, leads Rachel's training and beliefs to also stand trial.
  Meanwhile, Thran’s ideas and plans for the Ascendency and Outer Rim territories remain uncertain while he continues to negotiate in the Senate on the Syndicure’s behalf and pacifies the Syndicure in the Senate’s favor. But can he keep his true feelings buried after the Jedi Council so easily saw through every barrier? How long will it be before Rachel senses what he keeps hidden in his heart, and will she accept it or run from it?
