Summary
Wilson was doing fine. Sure, he was lonely, but he had always been sort of lonely. Being alone in the Constant wasn't that different from being alone back home- though with the added "bonus" of having to constantly fight to survive. But when Maxwell Carter, the fallen king responsible for Wilson's misfortune, stumbles into his camp, Wilson has to face the man he harboured so much hatred for. When he thinks he's finally settled into an odd routine with this disgraced magician, other survivors get added to the equation, throwing a wrench into their daily lives. Forming bonds with these other trapped souls, Wilson must grapple with his deep resentment of Maxwell and the strange new feelings blossoming in the back of his mind.
