Summary
Alfred is a medium, and rather older than he looks, and now he's in charge of raising a boy ghost into either leaving the earthly plane, or at least knowing he's gone.
The Batman seems like a myth because he's been around for generations and never left Gotham. He started just before WWII, and has been fighting every night since. Never aged. Never died. Never stopped.
AKA, Alfred really doesn't want to tell the bby ghost that he's dead.
