Every moment in the arena is a turn of the cycle of life and death. Sacrifices are imminent. Losses are unavoidable.

It had been less than a year since their parents’ accident, and Purpled really wanted to just get out of the car. He felt so trapped, and- although he didn’t want to admit it, he was scared. He had been fidgeting for the entire journey, clicking his tongue and whistling and tapping his fingers - much to Punz’s dismay - anything to distract himself from what laid behind the next grassy hill.
Suffice to say, Purpled was not excited to be going to a fucking boarding school.
