Summary
In 2014, the world learned that monsters were real. In 2015, Percival de Rolo learned that his ancestral home had been built above the den of a dormant Titan, in deep hibernation. He learned that his family had been working with Monarch, keeping her hidden, and protected, for generations. He learned all of this when his ancestral home, Monarch Outpost 9, was taken by the Briarwoods, and his family slaughtered. He managed to escape, and in 2016, Monarch brought him aboard after he survived a shipwreck, caused by a fight between Godzilla and another titan. And in 2019, he was visiting Outpost 65 in Cairo, when Ghidorah was released and triggered the Mass Emergence of the Titans, worldwide. It took well over a year for him to recover from the injuries he sustained from the Emergence of Titanus Sekhmet on that day...
Now, six years later, in 2025, Percy journeys to Outpost 57 in the Andes Mountains. Evidence has been uncovered that what is now the nest of Titanus Quetzalcoatl, was once the den of the Titan that still remains dormant under Whitestone. Titanus Residualis is his life's work. He is overjoyed, but there is still that terror present, excavating around the nest of a sleeping Titan.
