Summary
Instead of a trap full of lobsters like Wolfwood was hoping for, there’s a head stuck in the trap. Which might be a cause for concern, but the head is attached to a neck, attached to a human torso, which is attached to a squirming tail. Wolfwood stares at the creature with the lobster pot resting just a foot above the water.
or: while hauling in the day's catch, wolfwood finds a mermaid in one of his lobster traps.

Summary
Wolfwood isn't sure what has this Mermaid so entranced by him. He's no one special - just some fisherman who happened to loose his sunglasses over the side of his ship at the right time. The most remarkable thing about him is how bad he is when it comes to following God's word.
Vash also seems to take issue with god, but for entirely separate reasons.
