Summary
The grand opening of The Holidome had only just begun: lanterns glowed overhead, the crowd pressed close in anticipation, and the high school band played ‘Downtown’ on the balcony above. The music was half-swallowed by the low murmur of conversation as guests shifted restlessly, waiting for Mayor Vaughn to begin his speech and the real festivities to follow.
He and Quint hadn’t had much choice about coming. They were Amity’s “heroes”—that’s what the invitations had said, complete with embossed lettering and a soft touch finish. He knew how the town worked; it was politics, and Vaughn needed them visible and smiling, a reminder of how far they’d come since the shark that had nearly ruined everything.

Summary
When Jack left the New York City PD to join the Amity Island Police Department in 1972, she thought she was walking away from bureaucracy-ridden chaos. Instead, she found a home — the steady rhythm of the sea, family close by, and a chance to finally prove herself as worthy of following in her uncle’s footsteps as a police officer.
But the summer of ’74 shatters that peace. A string of shark attacks rattles the community before the pique of the summer season, and Jack is pulled into the center of the storm — torn between protecting her young cousins, supporting her uncle — Police Chief Martin Brody, and confronting the doubts of a town that still struggles to take her and her uncle seriously.
As Amity spirals between denial and desperation, Jack’s path collides with three men: her overburdened uncle, a hard-bitten fisherman, and a sharp-tongued oceanographer who challenges her as much as he understands her.

Summary
He shrugged. "She doesn't like to do anything too out there."
"Like dirty fantasies?" Brody pointed at him and nodded frantically. "Yeah, exactly. She doesn't like my fantasies or whatever it is."
"Tell me one." Hooper dared. Brody barked laugh. "I'm serious, I wanna hear it."
[A shark in Amity begins to thrust painful memories into Brody's mind. Ellen struggles with Brody's emotional fluctuations while Hooper finds the whole fearful, pathetic type quite intriguing.]

Summary
Nearly two years after the events of Halloween 1988, Michael Myers is broken out by the Cult of Thorn, shocking the world and allowing a nine-year-old Jamie to show the adults Wynn's true colors. As Wynn forces Michael into hiding, the man in black himself and the Cult set their sights on a preteen Johnathan Carruthers, now a nearly mute little boy in the Haddonfield children clinic, and Kara Strode's three-year-old son Danny Strode, finding them both suitable to serve the Cult.
With Halloween only being a week away, Tommy, Lindsey, Rachel, and Tina all band together once more to find out the full truth behind the Myers family history and plan to force the Cult of Thorn out of hiding so all of Haddonfield can take them down, face-to-face. Meanwhile, sixteen-year-old Danny Torrance trains little Jamie Lloyd in how to use her newfound psychic abilities, with the entire group wanting to save Johnathan's soul before the Cult corrupts him.

In which Ellen Brody calls Matt Hooper in Jaws 2 and asks for some help.
A fix it because Hooper should’ve been there.

Matt decides he needs to stay on Amity, well, him and the oceanographers institute. It's not all that bad though, just as long as he gets to spend time with the Brodys every once in awhile.

Summary
Matthew Hooper should have left Amity a month ago; he should NOT still be sleeping in the Brody family living room, and he sure as hell should not be thinking about how much he wants to kiss the chief of police. But it's hard to catch a ferry home when you can't quite bring yourself to get on a boat ever again.
(A reasonably canon-compliant epilogue to Jaws that also functions as a prequel to a significantly less one-sided Brody/Hooper comic collected as part of the same series.)
