Many fell into the wrong hands and became what the very shows and comics the people grew up on into adversaries upon the street. Their fiction became fact. To counteract, there would be good samaritans who chose to step forward and declare themselves as superheroes. However, with these magical artifacts, they tend to bring out a persona of sorts upon the user.

However, I have made slight tweaks to the way the game functions (there is one of every role, except twin, which means that there will be both a witch and a scout, a dark psychic and an assassin, a savior and a medic, and a muffin man and twins.) I have also made slight tweaks (headcanons) to most characters, but this is mostly for designs, which aren't mentioned too much, and personalities, which they don't canonically have anyways.
