Michael Kaiser is an asshole.
Not like Isagi could be talking. He's one too. But Kaiser does it differently. He does it in a way that causes Isagis skin to burn, hands to shake, teeth to grit in anger at the mere sight of his disgusting face.
That's why Isagi should’ve hated this. He should’ve hated this with every fiber of his being. And he did at first. When he didn't know Kaiser beyond that stupid smug expression he always wore and his superhuman-like shooting speed.
But now he doesn't. Now, he knows so much more about him than just that, so things are hard. But Isagi tries not to blame himself too much. How could he have known Kaiser would also thrust himself into the high-stakes prestigious 10-week long business internship at Blue Lock Corporations and make life more complicated than it already was? Damn that stupid blonde bastard. It was supposed to be business. Just business. Isagi hates him. He hates him, so why did it hurt him knowing this was all going to end?
Is it all just business?
Or: In which Isagi Yoichi and Michael Kaiser unintentionally end up in the same business internship and are paired up to complete the most important project of their college careers.
