    While preparing to overthrow the Grinberryall family in a coup, Vanica seeks to make a contract with the devil Megicula and obtain its aid. However, a fault in the summoning circle and a case of mistaken identity lead to her accidentally making a contract with one of its heralds instead - a shy devil with Transmutation Magic.

    All is not lost, as Megicula makes the best of this unfortunate situation by having its messenger act on its behalf, promising her freedom if she can help it to manifest in the human world.

    Unfortunately, falling in love with her human host severely complicates Grey's task - especially when the host in question is one of Megicula's required sacrifices.
