He raised up to Kai, clutching both robes that dragged down his naked shoulders, then halting midway. “You need to learn how to forget.” Forget nobodies.
“Forget?” Kai huffed. “You’re one to talk.”
He scowled. The Green Ninja is the only thing for him, the only way to prove himself worthy. Without that, Morro would be nothing. But even if Kai becomes worthless—or lose his friends, sister, or her, even if he becomes nothing or lose everything, he’d always be the same boy he grieved with. He’ll always mean something to Morro.
