Summary
Fire Agate preferred to stick mostly to himself.
The mountain bandits he lived with didn't seem to care what he did one way or another unless it was affecting them. That was fine with him. He had more important things to do than worry about a bunch of humans. It's a measured distance. One he maintained pretty easily... most of the time. Then he came along. Some dumbass spinel that demanded he be called "Luffy." And everything just went downhill from there.
Being alone was starting to get A LOT harder with that dirtwad around.
A tale of three gems maybe, sort of finding a place in the world together.
