Summary
Since going missing after the events of the World Marshall incident, Raiden's family has come to believe that he has abandoned them. That belief is shattered when he is found after years of isolation and captivity. The old team at Maverick along with some familiar faces aid Raiden in his recovery and search for those responsible for capturing and killing the former members of the Devils Army. The events in Mexico and Denver had woken demons that still have yet to be put to rest. Repairing the fractures of a broken family will not be easy for Raiden to do while he is still trying to piece himself back together after being forced to face his true nature. Revelations and truths come to light for all as the hunt for the one known as 'The Hunter' digs up long buried pieces of the past that were best left undisturbed.

Summary
J. Finch looked away bashfully. “I know. I feel the same way about you, though. Different from my other friends.” Tentatively, as if frightened of scaring Ernie away, he laid his head against Ernie’s shoulder. The other boy tensed up under the touch, but didn’t object or push him away. Instead, he just knocked his right knee against J. Finch’s left.
Summertime is bleak at Hogwarts; this was a plain truth that J. Finch was well aware of by now. However, nothing is bleak when Ernie is nearby, and, for the first summer since they had enrolled in school, Ernie was, in fact, nearby.

Summary
"LAN FUCKING WANGJI!" The sect leader roared in a mixture of fury and pain. He kept holding onto Zidian, but his arm was limp and dripping with blood. "I don't know what your fucking deal with Wei Wuxian is, but you better mark my fucking words. I will hunt you down. I will hunt you like an animal, Lan Wangji, and when I catch you—"
He didn't finish that thought, leaving the consequences of his eventual capture up to Lan Wangji's imagination. There wasn't much imagining to be had, though. He's heard of the poor cultivators caught by the Jiang Clan, believed to be conspiring in bringing back the Yiling Patriarch, tortured until all they yearned for was the relief of death itself.
Lan Wangji couldn't find it in himself to be afraid. The torture he had been living for the past years after Wei Wuxian's death had already been worse than anything Jiang Wanyin could possibly do to him.
In which Lan Wangji, Second Jade of Lan, grows tired of pretending like he can simply go on in life after the death of Wei Wuxian. He needs to take matters into his own hands, even if it means turning his back on the whole world.
