"The weeks following up the end of his… ‘Re-adjustment’ lessons have been rough for John. Even if he was now back home, with his dad and in an environment he knew and used to be comfortable in, he couldn’t get his mind off what happened there. Adding onto that, he hadn’t activated his ability in almost a full year, and John didn’t intend to do so any time soon. At least not for a longer while.
