Priests chanted ancient hymns, their voices echoing in harmonious reverence, and the gathered nobility watched with solemn faces, acknowledging the divine moment.
Ramasses’ heart swelled with pride and awe. His grandfather looked every bit the ruler of Egypt, a protector of its people and a guardian of its sacred traditions. As the high priest performed the sacred rites, invoking the blessings of the gods, he couldn't help but imagine himself in his grandfather's place.
