His travels were quiet. But actually peaceful. It was a nice change from the battlefield that had become home. His leather bound notebook housed miscellaneous words printed onto the pages, some of these words collecting into rough drafts that had potential to be music.
He doesn't know when the fighting started. But it went from zero to ten in what felt like a day. Things started out passive aggressive. His dad would say something purposefully meant to annoy his mum or his mum would ignore something his dad said. Eventually, something snapped and the aggression started arguments and turned his house into a war zone.
