The gatehouse is Lunar’s creation, through and through. An otherwise innocuous building, solid black stone on all four sides. But that was exactly what made it so unnerving. One way in, one way out, one way to escape- from the outside. He's more of a display piece than a brother to Lunar anyway.
But then...it occurs to Eclipse that there are infinite worlds to escape to. He can find somewhere quiet, settle in, and never be found again. It's incredibly lucky that his first try lands him in a safe dimension with no pressing crisis. But the Eclipse he finds there...complicates things. His capabilities, their shared experience...everything seems to fit together so neatly. Or is that just what he wants to believe?

What happens when a wire is pulled too taut? It snaps. When a wire is too taut or snaps inside of a music box, the tune is thrown off, has holes in the melody, or the song is silenced forever. Each of these animatronics has their own internal music boxes which play different tunes that harmonize with each other perfectly when played aloud. Unfortunately, the more stressed someone is, the more prone they are to a wire being too taut or snapping.
Short chapter introducing Music Box and what that means for Sun, Moon, and their counterparts, Eclipse and Lunar. This series is intended to start off prior to Lunar and Old Moon's deaths. Lunar and Eclipse have their own bodies respectively. BloodMoon is interpreted as twin AI sharing one body.
