Summary
There wasn’t much he remembered about those two years, in the end that was the plan: erase, forget. He knew it slipped faster than he could predict, his fingers barely brushing the end of the rope that held him together before falling down. One would expect a crash, but it never came, or at least not when he expected it would. In some ways, it was worse. Falling, hands too numb to grab onto something to stop, mouth sewed too shut to scream for help.

Summary
It was too slow, everything moved too slow, his eyes glued on the numbers shifting every minute, too slow. Maybe he’d wake up now, he’d wake up to two years ago, he’d wake up to Anthony in his arms and wouldn’t let him leave. He would hug him so tightly their bodies would melt together, he would kiss him and hold him until every pain was erased from him, until he’d see his smile and bright eyes shine again.

Summary
A thousand thoughts crossed his mind, just like every time he had tried calling the boy, or text him, or just even recalled their last meet up. He hated how much he could still feel it, clear as day, all the touches and the senses they exchanged. Not sure if he dreaded more knowing the boy wanted nothing to do with him, or knowing he was struggling alone, without anyone to hold him up.

Summary
There weren’t many mandatory moments in a music career in the scene they moved around, but Warped Tour was definitely one of them. Being probably one of the most awaited events of the year, it was more than just a tour, some kind of huge bands meet up where you reunited with old friends, and at the same time see new faces breaking out their first shows.
Even more than that, there was a band he was looking forward seeing more than anything.Series

Summary
When, in the last months of 2003, he received the more than excited call by Anthony saying that he had finally found the drummer for his forming band, he knew something special was coming. The name spoke for itself, Circa Survive, and the more he got to know Anthony the more he saw all his life experiences crystalized in that name. Everything around the band felt like it, the place they chose to record their first album in more than anything.

Summary
Anthony kept his promise.
He looked up, barely being able to sustain the other’s gaze. It was intense, too intense, it was piercing inside of him and tugging at strings he kept methodically hidden, buried behind walls and walls of impenetrable concrete, Maybe, after all, they weren’t as impenetrable as he thought.

Summary
Colin pulls a thread loose from the hem of his shirt and lets it flutter to the floor. “Are you guys just fucking, or is it, like, a real thing?”
Brendan shrugs, strums a strange discordant chord. “It’s Anthony.” It sounds like a cop-out, a non-answer entirely, really, but it’s all he has to say. It’s Anthony and it’s me and it’s me and Anthony. He adjusts his fingers on the frets to resolve the chord and plays it a couple times, ear turned to the strings. “We’re just doing what makes sense.”
