“I think there’s been a mistake,” Aki says calmly.
A pair of pretty, doe-like carmine eyes are looking up at him. It’s a bit hard to concentrate.
“But this is apartment M1911, isn't it? Counsellor said it was the place.” Definitely a very pretty voice, too. Aki is truly fucked.
“Um, yes. I wasn't told I would have a roommate though, so this is…” Aki trails off. It’s definitely hard concentrating when the most beautiful person he’s probably ever seen is standing at his doorstep and claiming to be his new roommate.
The person stares blankly at Aki.
“Okay,” Aki relents. He’s never been good at refusing pretty people. “What about leaving your bags here while we go check together?”
The person simply shrugs. Aki thinks he might go mad.
(Or, Aki is a uni student and streams on the side. His life gets turned upside down when a new person moves into his apartment.)

It is, but he had to ask, and that should’ve been reason enough to keep away from them. But, Angel didn’t tell him that, wouldn’t tell him that.
The space they force between themself and him is meaningless. It’s safe through cloth. They could be standing shoulder-to-shoulder, and Aki would be perfectly fine. This is just more selfishness, them trying to assuage their guilt. -
